At Digital Tools Studio, we believe privacy is a feature, not an afterthought. This policy outlines how TagFit Size Charts for POD (the “App”) handles data. Because our app is designed to be lightweight and merchant-focused, we collect the absolute minimum amount of information required to function.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information from your customers. We only collect the following data from you (the Merchant):

  • Shopify Domain (e.g., your-shop.myshopify.com) — used to identify your store and provide the service.
  • Access Token — a secure, Shopify-generated token used to authenticate the App’s connection to your store.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the data collected strictly for the following business purposes:

  • To authenticate your identity when you access the App admin.
  • To verify your subscription status and billing via Shopify.
  • To provide the technical connection necessary to display size charts on your storefront.

3. Data Storage and Third-Party Service Providers

We use professional third-party service providers (sub-processors) to host our App and store data securely. These include:

  • Hosting and Infrastructure — to deliver the App interface and store session data.
  • Database Management — to maintain secure, encrypted records of merchant authentication tokens.

All service providers are vetted to ensure they meet modern security standards and comply with relevant data protection regulations.

4. Shopper Privacy

TagFit is “Privacy-First” for your customers. The size chart widget displayed on your storefront is designed to be static and non-intrusive. It does not set cookies on your customers’ browsers, nor does it track, profile, or collect any personal data from the shoppers visiting your store.

5. Cookies & Analytics

  • Merchant Admin — our marketing site (digitaltoolsstudio.com) uses Google Analytics 4 to help us understand how merchants find us. This involves anonymized IP tracking.
  • The App Widget — no cookies or analytics are used within the actual size chart widget shown to your customers.

6. GDPR & CCPA Compliance

We fully support global privacy rights, including the GDPR (Europe) and CCPA (California).

  • Data Access & Portability — you may request a copy of the limited data we hold (your shop domain and session status) by contacting us at the email below.
  • Right to Erasure — when you uninstall the App, Shopify notifies us via webhook, and your store’s session data is automatically deleted from our databases.
  • Mandatory Webhooks — we comply with all Shopify mandatory privacy webhooks regarding customer and shop data.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices. The “Last Updated” date at the top will indicate when the latest changes were made.
